Sunday morning we began our journey westward from Georgia. Prior to the early morning wake up, we had dinner at Carrabba’s Italian Grill in Augusta. Carrabba’s isn’t new to the average foodie and is known for good food. However, without claiming to be a professional food critic, I have to sign off on their Three Cheese and Sausage Stuffed Mushroom, Grilled Asparagus with Prosciutto, Shrimp & Sea Scallop Spiedino, and Pomegranate Martini. 🌟

All chain restaurants are not created equal in cleanliness, service, properly mixed cocktails nor food preparation . Therefore, when I have an opportunity to enjoy an entire meal at any said location, I must give them credit. If you’re in Augusta and looking for a good, reasonably priced dinner — be sure to add Carrabba’s to the list.
Pros: AARP discount, outstanding service with a very attentive waitress, well prepared food and cocktails
Cons: The advertised 1/2 off cost of appetizers and cocktails on the posted sign did not specify that it pertained to bar seating only.
